Localized English Iw00 Iwd Call Of Duty Black 11

How to Change the Language of Call of Duty Black Ops 11 from Russian to English

If you bought a Russian CD-key for Call of Duty Black Ops 11 and activated it on Steam, you might be disappointed to find out that the game is locked in Russian language and you cannot switch to English. This is because Valve has restricted the language options for some regions to prevent people from buying cheaper keys from other countries. However, there is a way to change the language of the game by replacing some files in the game folder. Here is how you can do it:

  • Download the localized_English_iw00.iwd file from [this link]. This file contains the English language pack for the game.

  • Go to your Steam library and right-click on Call of Duty Black Ops 11. Select Properties and then Local Files. Click on Browse Local Files to open the game folder.

  • Find the folder named "main" and open it. You should see a bunch of files with the extension .iwd. These are the game data files.

  • Copy the localized_English_iw00.iwd file that you downloaded and paste it in the main folder. Replace the existing file if prompted.

  • Repeat steps 1 to 4 for the rest of the localized_English_iw0*.iwd files. You can find them [here] or [here]. There should be a total of 11 files, from iw00 to iw10.

  • Once you have replaced all the files, launch the game and enjoy it in English.

Note: This method may not work for everyone and may cause some glitches or errors in the game. Use it at your own risk. Also, make sure to backup your original files before replacing them in case you want to revert back to Russian.
